Sealander Marine International Ltd has developed the Scout amphibious vehicle that will prove not only to be the ultimate addition to any superyacht's tender list, but also a real work horse in the
form of Oil Pollution Response, Fire Rescue, Remote Survey, Medical Relief or General working vehicle! The Scout is designed to be safe, reliable and capable of traversing a broad range of terrain including tough off road tracks, sandy beaches and coastal waters up to 20miles offshore.

Depending on configuration the Scout can accommodate up to 12 people in comfort and safety or carry over 1200 kg of food & equipment to any destination over land and water.

The vehicle itself is very adaptable, with a conventional forward driving position and large deck area. The upper side and rear doors can be opened while afloat with the lower doors closed giving the Scout plenty of freeboard. With this arrangement even if conditions deteriorate the doors can be closed to seal up the vehicle, similar to a ship's lifeboat, making the Scout extremely safe.

The interior can be fitted out to the up most luxury for use as a Superyacht tender or fitted with flip-down seating for more rugged cargo/passenger carry operations. With the addition of interior watertight locker space the vehicle can even be used as an all weather rescue vehicle.
