Sealander Marine International Limited can offer
extensive services in the field of naval architecture and marine
design. Our experience covers many years of designing new craft
and working on existing vessels. The work we undertake varies from
concept and detail design through to build & project management.
Below are just a few examples of the type of work & projects
we undertake:
Conceptual & Detail
Design
Structural Design & Detailing
Naval Architectural Design
Stability Booklets, Calculations & Investigations
Damage Condition Calculations & Investigations
Powering Calculations
Machinery Installation Design & Detailing
Vessel System Design & Schematics
Vessel Conversions
Compliance Investigations
Owner/Yard Representation
Tank & Free
Running Model Testing
Steel & AluminumStructural Part Profiling
Here
we are running resistance tests
on a trimaran hull form to
evaluate stern configuration.
Free running tests were also
subsequently undertaken to
assess maneuvering characteristics
Steel & aluminum
structural part profiling were
completed on these vessels
allowing the builders to assemble
and weld the structures accurately
and in much less time than
conventional lofting.
For this
particular RIB design we supplied
the builders with the basic
hull lines & structural
details giving them exactly
what they required for a minimum
outlay
Detail design
and installation of a fuel
tank for a 40 passenger amphibious
ferry that we designed.
Here
we see a bilge and fire main
valve manifolds on a catamaran
workboat. The system includes
the ability to drain from any
compartment in either hull
or draw from the sea and deliver
to the fire main.
We
are currently developing a
range of catamaran ferries
and tour vessels. They are
simply constructed using light
materials giving economic purchase & running
costs. Modular designs allow
the vessels to have open or
closed decks.
We develop and undertake the
complete design & manufacture
of our amphibious craft including
naval architectural & structural
design, machinery, hydraulic
and running gear development & installation
as well as highway and marine
legislation compliance
We can provide
full stability & compliance
booklets for all the vessels
we design as well as for existing
vessels including charter sailing
yachts, ferries, workboats,
marine platforms, etc.
